Students Incoming

DMVPA offers a wide number of undergraduate and graduate programs, covering different subject areas of veterinary medicine and animal production. Normally, courses (either compulsory or elective) are fully taught in Italian but, for some of them, Exchange students will be able to use study materials and take the exams in English (in this case, a prior authorization from the professor in charge of the course is required).
Nevertheless, a master’s degree in Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) held in English is also available (check the list).

Welcome to the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production (DMVPA)!
Our DMVPA is a lively environment where teaching, research, and public engagement live side by side in the areas of veterinary medicine, zootechnical sciences, animal production, and precision livestock farming.
During the last decade, our department has increased its international activities with an increasing number of exchange students (for study and for traineeship), staff mobility and international opportunities for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students (Erasmus+ and beyond).
We have also activated a master’s degree in Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) held in English and in a residential form.
In coming years, we aim to further expand the international opportunities in the field of veterinary medicine and animal production sciences.
I look forward to meeting you soon.

Laura Rinaldi,

Erasmus+ Coordinator and Vice Director of DMVPA
