Project:
Development and application of regenerative medicine therapeutic protocols for the treatment of mammary and podal lesions in dairy cows

Antimicrobial resistance represents a growing threat to public health on a global scale, as it is responsible for compromising the effectiveness of therapeutic treatments. Among the strategies proposed to address it are those that involve the use of alternative treatments, including regenerative medicine. Regenerative medicine is a branch of medicine that seeks biological solutions to repair damaged tissues using biological material from the patient. The aim of my research will be to develop and apply new therapeutic protocols of regenerative medicine for the treatment of lesions in dairy cows.

Supervisior:

Prof. Paolo Ciaramella full professor at the University of Naples Federico II in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production, Internal Medicine division.
